Mrs. Lizzie Klein 80, of Doon dies Monday

Mrs. Lizzie Klein, 80, died Monday, Dec. 3 in the Flandreau Nursing home in Flandreau, S. D.

Services will be at 2:00 p.m. Thursday in the Christ Lutheran church at Alvord. Rev. Duane Manson will officiate.
Interment will be in St Paul Lutheran cemetery at Hull under the direction of the Porter Funeral home.

Lizzie (Meyer) Klein was born on March 6, 1882 at Monticello to John and Magda (Flitch) Meyer. She was baptized and confirmed as a youth and made her home in the Monticello area
until 1903. She was married to August Klein of Doon on Dec. 29th 1903. They moved to a farm two miles south of Doon and two sons were born of this union. They retired from the farm in 1928 and made their home in Doon.
