Dennis W. Klein, 22, of Hospers died Thursday in a hospital in Sheldon after a lengthy illness.

Services were at 10:30 A.M. Saturday in St. Anthony’s Catholic Church in Hospers. The Reverend Richard Ries officiated. Burial was in the parish cemetery under the direction of the Fisch Funeral Home of Remsen.

Mr. Klein was born October 25, 1959, at Sheldon and was a lifelong Hospers area resident. He graduated from Spalding High School in 1978 and from Western Iowa Tech Community College in Sioux City in 1979.

He was a member of the St. Anthony’s Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus of Granville.

Survivors include his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Vincent Klein of Hospers; four brothers: Darryl, David, Douglas and James, all at home; two sisters, Debbie of Sioux City and Linda at home and his parental grandfather, William B. Klein of Hospers.
