The week of her death Jan 20, 1919 seems to be missing from the newspaper archives.

Note: From the Alton St. Mary’s church book, there is a family history of the Michael Haupert family. It is believed this Mary Ann Haupert was Mary Ann Monner who married Michael Haupert (1838-1922) June 21, 1865. They came to NW IA in 1879 and moved to a farm southeast of Alton in 1882, where they lived until they retired. The had seven children six were listed, John, Catherine, Rose, Elizabeth, Susan and Mary.
