Mrs. C. G. Harthorn was born on May 18, 1875, in Woutenberg, Utrecht, Netherlands, passed iaway in her home in Rock Valley. December 4th.. at the age of sixty-five years, six months and sixteen days. Mrs. Harthorn as survived by her husband and seven children.
The children are Mrs. S. Faber, of Inwood; Gerrit, of Alvord; Case, of Doon; Marinus of Sheldon; John, of Larchwood; Mrs. John Groeneweg of Rock Valley; and Kors, of Rook Valley.
Funeral services were held in the Christian Reformed church in Rock Valley, with Rev. H. Triezenberg in charge. Assisted by thnee other ministers. Burial Was at Valley View cemetery
