Mrs. Ruth E. Keizer, age 44, of Minnetonka, Minnesota, died Sunday, May 29, 1994 in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

Ruth was born June 9, 1949 at Baldwin, Wisconsin, the daughter of Harry and Wilemina (Muyskens) Somsen.

She was a registered nurse at the Hennepin County Medical Center in Minneapolis.

Survivors include her husband Thomas J.; a daughter, Alaina; a son, Brandon; two brothers, Cornelius Somsen and the Reverend Philip Somsen; and four sisters, Rachel Somsen, Miriam Vellinga of Orange City, Lois Ditmer and Eunice Stroh.

Funeral services were held on Wednesday, June 1 at Faith Presbyterian Church in Minnetonka. The Reverend Gary LeTourneau officiated.

A prayer service was held on Friday, June 3 at the First Reformed Church in Orange City. The Reverend Steven Vander Molen and the Reverend Philip Somsen officiated. Interment followed at West Lawn Cemetery in Orange City under the direction of the Van Etten-Oolman-Van Gelder Funeral Home in Orange City.
