Last Rites Held For William Keizer

Funeral services for William Keizer, Sr., 76, of Perkins Corner, were held Wednesday, January 7 in the Porter Funeral Home with the Reverend C. Hegeman officiating.

Pallbearers were his six sons, Richard, Gary, Albert, John, Herman and Joe Keizer. Burial was in Valley View cemetery under the direction of Porter Funeral Home.

Mr. Keizer died Saturday, January 3 in a Sioux City hospital following a long illness.

William Keizer, Sr., was born August 17, 1893 in The Netherlands. He married Hendrika Hartemink in Orange City on February 23,1917.

Survivors are his widow; six sons, Richard of Sheldon, Gary of Lakewood, California, Albert of Hull. John of Artesia, California, Herman of Buena Park, California, and Joe of Sheridan, Oregon; two daughters, Mrs. Stanley Hansen of Fall City, Washington, and Mrs. John Fowler of Waco, Texas, two brothers, Gerrit of Paramount, California, and Joe of Doon; three sisters, Mrs. Deana Steenhover of Sheldon, Mrs. Frank De Boer of Bellflower, California, and one in The Netherlands; 36 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
