John Dykstra died Monday morning at the age of seventy-five years, after an illness of four weeks. The old gentleman, who lost his wife about six years ago, has been making his home with his son Yelta. He was born in the Netherlands and came to this country in 1881 and has resided in Orange City since then. The funeral took place Wednesday afternoon, services being held at the home and at the First Reformed church. His sons Henry of Kalamazoo, Michigan, and Ralph of Manhattan, Kansas, arrived here last week, returning to their homes Thursday.
