Obituary of Mrs. Dora Post Who Passed Away Thursday
Mrs. Dora Post, age 79 passed away in Sioux Center Hospital on Thursday Septembe 5, following a long illness.

Funeral services were held in the Chr. Rev. Church on Monday sept 9th, with the Vander Ploeg Funeral home in charge of arrangements and the Rev. H. C. Van Deelen officiating.

Dora Visser was born in Kampen, the Neth. on Nov 4, 1877, and there grew to womanhood. On Nov 29, 1900 she was untied in marriage to Mr. Gerrit Vander Ziel. In 1911 she with her husband came to American settling in the Sioux Center vicinity. They later moved to Minnesota, where on March 8, 1918 her husband preceded her in death. She then moved back to Sioux Center. There her oldest son also preceded her in death.

After her marriage to Thys Post in 1925, she lived on a farm north of Hull. After their retirement from farming they lived in Hull. She was a member of the Christian Reformed Church and an active Add member until illness prevented her from attending the meetings.

She is survived by one son. Ed Vander Ziel of Galveston, Texas; and five daughters, Mrs. Lucy He
Man of Redlands, California; Mrs. Henrietta Hogeveen of Sioux Falls, South Dakota; Mrs. Elizabeth Murphy of Lynwood, California; Mrs. Bertha Harsma of Humboldt, SD; Mrs. Dorothy Harsma of Rock Rapids IA; 14 grand and 11 great grand children. Also there are 3 step sons, 5 step daughters and their children. Also one brother and 2 sisters. A brother and a sister preceded her in death.
