ED LIENHART FUNERAL HERE LAST MONDAY
Funeral services for Ed Lienhart, 55, of Hawarden who died last Thursday, April 2, were held Monday at the local Methodist Church with Dr. G. S. Bruland officiating. Burial, was in Pleasant Hill cemetery in Alcester, under the direction of Dow Funeral Home. Lienhart died in the Hawarden hospital.

He was born May 11, 1914 at Winner, South Dakota. He married the former Avis Lundgren, March 7, 1942, in Abeline, Texas. They have lived in Hawarden since 1937. He was a former Hawarden and Westfield teacher. For the past eight years he was personnel director of Otis Radio Corporation in Hawarden. He held membership in the American Legion, the Methodist Church, and was a veteran, having served in the U . S. Army during World War II.

Besides his widow he is survived by three daughters, Mr. .Russell (Diane) Schoeneman of Phoenix, Arizona, Mrs. Gary (Denice) Ping of Ireton, and Miss Anne Lienhart of Hawarden; his mother, Mrs. Jennie Lienhart of Winner; four grandchildren; one sister, Mrs, Lynn. Hiatt of Salt Lake City, Utah and one brother, Kenneth, of Le Mesa, California,

During services, Mrs. Don Hummel was organist and James Squier sang "Abide with Me": and "No Night There." Casket bearers were Carlyle Dirks, Alfred Pulscher, Douglas Dreeszen, Herbert Anderson, Harold Busch, and Charles Koop, Honorary casket bearers, members of the 90th Division, were Roscoe Cox, Gail Smith, E, 0, (Bud) Johnson, Sam Lentinger, John Melancon, and Wilton Bargar, Military graveside services were sponsored by Two Oaks, American Legion Post 254.
