Benjamin Butler, an old settler of Sioux county, passed away at the home of his daughter, Mrs. De Vries, three miles north of town last Sunday morning. He was past 80 years old and for several years has not been out much save about the farm of his son-in-law, where he made his home. The funeral was held from the home Tuesday afternoon, Rev. Masters officiating.
