Miss Augusta Karstens, 85, of Rock Rapids died Thursday at her residence in Rock Rapids.

Services were Saturday in St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Hull. The Reverend Lyle Blaede officiated. Burial was in the church cemetery.

Miss Karstens was born February 17, 1898, in Sioux County. She was a longtime resident of Hull, working for many years in a general mercantile store. She retired in the mid-1960’s and moved to Rosewood Heights Apartments in Rock Rapids in 1980.

Survivors include a niece and a nephew.
