Former resident dies at Luverne

Funeral services were held last Wednesday afternoon for Earl Tracy Corwin of Luverne, formerly of Rock Valley. He died Sunday night in the Community hospital after a prolonged, illness. Burial was in the Maplewood cemetery. The Holto Funeral Home had charge of the arrangements.

He was born December 2, 1892 in Rock Valley He went to Rock county in the 1930's and farmed west of Luverne; Minn. until his retirement in October of 1957.

He served in the Armed Forces during World War I and was a member of the American Legion. Military honors were given at the burial service.

Mr. Corwin married Lucille Webber August 12, 3920, in Luverne.
They became the parents of two sons, both of whom survive. Mrs. Corwin survives her husband. His sons are David Corwin of
Dover, Ohio and John Martin Corwin, of Oakland, Calif.
There are four grandchildren. Other survivors, besides his wife, included three brothers, Frelon Corwin of Sioux City, Robert Corwin, Minneapolis, and Howard Corwin, and three sisters, Mrs. Stan (Frances) Reeves, Baltimore, Md.; Mrs. Tily Tennant of Baltimore, Md., and Mrs. Everett (Elsie) Baxter, Branson, Mo.
