Marie Jurgenson, 91, of Hawarden, died Saturday, September 20, 1986, in a care center in Hawarden.

Services were at 10:30 A.M. Tuesday, September 23, in the First Baptist Church. Reverend Harley Betzolt officiated. Burial was in Grace Hill Cemetery, under the direction of Dow Funeral Home.

Pallbearers were Cameron Davis, Peter Weyer, Milton Schneider, Dean White, Roger Falde and John Orton.

Mrs. Jurgenson, the former Marie Bellmore, was born December 26, 1894, at Perry. She married John Jurgenson January 7, 1920, at Denver. The couple made their home in Hawarden where she worked for Otis Radio and Ben Franklin Store. He died February 21, 1970.

Mrs. Jurgenson was an active member of the First Baptist Church and a lifelong member of the American Legion Auxiliary and Mothers Club of the Legion.

Survivors include a son, Jack L,. of Beresford, South Dakota, and a grandson.
