SERVICES FOR MRS. Frank JOUWSTRA HELD MONDAY

Funeral services for Mrs. Tjaltje Jouwstra, 87, of Rock Valley resident for the last 32 years, who died at a Rock Valley Nursing Home Wednesday evening, were at 1:30 P.M. Monday at the First Reformed Church, Reverend Henry Poppem officiated and burial was in the Valley View Cemetery under the direction of the Porter Funeral Home.

Mrs. Nawton was born December 10, 1876 in The Netherlands and was married to Frank Jouwstra May 25, 1901 in The Netherlands. They came to America in May, 1912 and settled in Sioux County.

She is survived by four sons: Cornelius of New York, New York, Charley of El Cajou, California, Ed of Rock Valley and Shirk of Chino, California; two daughters, Mrs. Dick Jauwstra of Steen, Minnesota and Mrs. Evert Lovering of Lake Wood, California, 18 grandchildren and 40 great-grandchildren.
