Mrs. Mederese Dagle, 84, a resident of Sioux City fifty years, died Sunday in the home of her daughter, Mrs. Leona Wicher, in Omaha.

Funeral services were held at 10 o’clock Tuesday morning at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Sioux City, with Father C.J. Hayes in charge. Chet and Walter Dagle of Hawarden were two of the six grandchildren who were pallbearers.

Others from Hawarden who attended the services were Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Dagle and Chet Dagle.

Mrs. Mederese LaFleur was born in Quebec, Canada, January 16, 1864. Her husband H.L. Dagle, died in Sioux City in 1932.

Survivors include three sons, Nels and George of Sioux City and Lawrence of Hawarden; four daughters, Mrs. W.L. Abker of Sioux City, Mrs. J.H. Jockheck of Grand Island, Nebraska, Mrs. Wicher of Omaha and Mrs. A.G. Mishler of Riverside, California; 16 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
