Patrick Joanning, 15, died Wednesday at the Orange City Hospital after a lengthy illness.

Services were at 10:00 A.M. Saturday at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Granville. Father Hoffman, Hood, Larkin, Schnurr and Synder officiated.

Burial was in St. Joseph Cemetery in Granville, under the direction of Fisch Funeral Home of Remsen.

Patrick was born September 17, 1961 and lived with his parents while attending Spalding High School.

Survivors include his parents, Mr. and Mrs. William Joanning of Granville, three brothers, Dr. Harvey Joanning of Lubbock, Texas, Roger Joanning of Des Moines and James Joanning of Alton; Paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Theo Joanning of Alton and maternal grandmother, Mrs. Emma Schnurr of Fukla, Minnesota.
