Funeral services were held at Our Savior's Lutheran Church Monday, December 23 for Michael James, 6 month old son of Mr. and Mrs. Cornie and Ruth (Gayer) Jansen of Hawarden. Reverend Alfred Kaupins officiated and burial was in the Valley View Cemetery.
The infant was born on June 21, 1963 at the Sioux Center Community Hospital and died Friday, Decemver 20 at the St Joseph's Hospital in Sioux City.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Donna.
Survivors include the parents and two brothers, Ronald and Galen, the grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Gayer of Rock Valley and Mr. and Mrs. Henry Jansen of Sioux Center.
Co-operative funeral service of Sioux Center was in charge of the arrangements.
