Mrs. Frederica Jahn, wife of the late Diedrich Jahn, long time resident of Sioux County and Struble, died in the Zimmerman home in Le Mars October 20 at the age of 84 years.

Funeral services were held in the Reading Township Lutheran Church of which she was a member, at 2 o’clock October 23, with Reverend H.H. Meyer in charge.

Frederica Klinge, the last member of her family, was born in Mecklenberg, Germany. At an early age, she came to this country with her parents and settled in Clayton County. In 1887, she was married to Dietrich Jahn and she came to Sioux County shortly after marriage, locating at Struble. Mr. Jahn was in business at Struble for many years.

Some years ago she submitted to an operation and again in 1943 she had another operation. While still in the hospital the second time her husband died. After she recovered sufficiently to leave the hospital she was removed to the Zimmerman home in Le Mars.

Survivors are three sons, William H. of Le Mars; Dick of Idaho Falls, Idaho; and Arthur C. of El Reno, Oklahoma and two daughters, Mrs. Otto Cornelieu of Brockton, Montana and Mrs. Rose Labahn of Waverly, Iowa. There are 12 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren
