Funeral services for Mrs. Aben Jacobsma, 51, nee Dorothy Te Brink, were held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, December 2, at the First Christian Reformed Church in Orange City. The Reverend J.B. Hulst officiated, and burial was made in the city cemetery under the direction of Van Etten Funeral Home.

Mrs. Jacobsma was born November 17, 1914, at North Dakota, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Bert and Jennie (Vink) Te Brink. She was married on May 23, 1936, to Aben Jacobsma at Denver, Colorado. After living in Denver briefly, they moved to the Sanborn vicinity and lived there about 25 years. The past two and a half years she had made her residence in Orange City.

Survivors include the widower; five daughters, Mrs. Rodney Vander Brink, Mrs. Don Wielenga, Mrs. John Gesink, Mrs. Marlo Fedders adn Joan, all of Orange City, her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Bert Te Brink; three brothers, Dick Te Brink of Alton, Alfred Te Brink of Denver, Colorado, and John Te Brink of Orange City; three sisters, Mrs. Henry Mellema, Mrs. John Van Engen or Orange City, and Mrs. Peter Mars of Maurice and four grandchildren.

Preceding her in death was an infant daughter in 1956.
