Henry Jacobsma, 75, of Doon died Friday at his home. Services were held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 30 at the Christian Reformed Church in Doon with the Reverend Henry Vander Kam officiating. Burial was in the Westside Cemetery in Hospers. The Vander Ploeg Funeral Home of Sheldon was in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Jacobsma was born on February 20, 1905 in Sioux Center, he married Tracy Van Zandbergen on November 15, 1935. She died in 1961.

He married Alys Feikema on February 5, 1963 in Luverne, Minnesota.

Survivors include his widow; one daughter, Mrs. Donald (Ruth) De Vries of San Jose, California; one son, David, of Independence, Missouri; four grandchildren, two great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Andrew (Dora) Vander Berg of Hospers, and Mrs. Bernard (Mabel) Voss of Lake Havasu City, Arizona; and two brother, Horton and Clarence both of Hospers.
