Funeral services for Conrad Jacobs, 73, were at 1:30 p.m. Monday at First Reformed Church in Orange City. The Reverend Robert Bast officiated. Burial was in West Lawn Cemetery under the direction of Van Etten Funeral Home.

Mr. Jacobs died Friday at his home. He was born October 6, 1893, at Dakota City. He married Tillie Van Es February 28, 1918, at Newkirk, Iowa. They farmed northeast of Orange City until 1951 when they moved into Orange City.

Survivors include the widow; a son, Adrian of Orange City; three brothers, Edward of Marshalltown, Iowa, John of Orange City and Gerrit of Compton, California, a sister, Mrs. Mae Meester of Hawthorne, California, and two grandchildren.
