Frances Marian Jackson, daughter of Robert and Delia Schuyler Jackson, was born January 1, 1854. And died April 20, 1936. She was one of a family of eleven children and is survived by one sister, Mrs. Irving Andrews, of Indianole, Nebraska.

She was married to Hamilton Jackson at Summit, New York on February 24, 1872. Her wedding trip was to Iowa where they came to a homestead between Hull and Boyden. Twice they moved back to New York and spent one year in Yakema, Washington, returning to Boyden in 1911. The Jackson family have been the Proprietors of the Jackson Hotel since 1902. Mr. Jackson died December 10, 1918.

Mrs. Jackson is survived by her three daughters, Lena- Mrs. Charles Bergman, and Miss Maud and Miss Ruthye.

Distant relatives who were present at the funeral were, Mrs. Fred Jones, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Story of Estherville; Mr. and Mrs. J.A. Tuttle of Chicago, Illinois; Mrs. H.L. Tuttle of Sheldon; Ed Tuttle of Watertown, South Dakota. Among friends from out of town who attended the funeral were, Mrs. Ed. Fischer, Orange City; Mrs. John Douma, Hull; Mr. and Mrs. Jake Van Loeuwen, Rock Rapids; Jean Hogan, Hull; Mrs. William Khraling, Sheldon; Mr. and Mrs. Fred Wagner; and Mrs. Leonard Block of Sheldon.

The pallbearers were Messrs. Paul Y. Mc Crum, William Meyn, Jacob Van Diepen, Jacob Koolbeck, William Wargowsky, and A.B. Vanden Brink.

Reverend Karl Megchelsen, of Alnsworth, conducted the funeral services of Mrs. Jackson. He was accompanied here by his wife, sons Karl, Jr., and Gerard, and daughter Edith.
