Death: August 27, 2010Jane Jacobe, 85, of Sioux City passed away Friday, August 27, 2010, at Westwood Nursing Home.
Services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday at Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel, with the Reverend James Travis officiating. Burial will be in Grace Hill Cemetery at Hawarden, Iowa. Jane was born September 27, 1925, in Hawarden, Iowa, to Albert and Daisy (Rupe) Morgan. She attended Hawarden Community Schools.
She was married to Edward Jacobe on March 14, 1942, in Dakota City, Nebraska. He preceded her in death in Hawarden. Jane was a homemaker, and she also worked numerous jobs with the Boys & Girls Home. She enjoyed visiting with her friends. She was a good friend and sweet lady.
Jane is survived by a daughter, Patricia Larson of Onawa, Iowa; three sons, Bob and Frank Jacobe of Hawarden, and Eddie Jacobe; a daughter, Linda Fitzgerald of Sioux City; her grandchildren; and great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; four brothers, Harley, Harry, Donald and Leland; and one daughter, Donna.
