DEATH CLAIMS CARL IMBROCK--PASSES AWAY WEDNESDAY MORNING AT HAWARDEN HOSPITAL

Carl Imbrock of Hawarden passed away about 8 o’clock Wednesday morning at the Hawarden Hospital following a long illness. He submitted to an operation in a Sioux Falls Hospital last fall and since then had been in poor health. He entered the Hawarden Hospital six or seven weeks ago and during this time was critically ill most of the time.

Funeral services will be held at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church at Ireton at 2 o’clock Friday afternoon with Reverend H.W. Krieger, the pastor, in charge. Interment will be made in the family plot in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Ireton.

Carl Imbrock was born in Henry County, Ohio, in 1888 and so was 54 years of age at the time of his death. He came to Sioux County with his parents when a small boy northeast of Hawarden. He grew to young manhood in this vicinity. Later he went to Chester, South Dakota, where he lived for about 28 years. He returned to Ireton last fall and made his home with his brother, Herman Imbrock, and last February they both came to Hawarden to live.

He is survived by two brothers, Herman Imbrock of Hawarden and August Imbrock of Lennox, South Dakota, and one sister, Mrs. Anna Jipp of Altamont, South Dakota. Two sisters, Mrs. Minnie Brunkhorst Meyers and Mrs. Emma Fredericks of Ireton preceded him in death.
