Funeral services were held at the American Reformed Church in Hull at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday for Mrs. John Hymans, 69, of Hull, who died Sunday at a Sheldon Hospital after a brief illness.

Services were conducted by the Reverend Harold Ringenoldus, and burial was made in the Hull Cemetery.

Kate Vander Schaaf was born July 29, 1894, at Doon, Iowa. She married John Hymans February 5, 1913, at Hull. Mrs. Hymans was a charter member of the American Reformed Church at Hull. She also was a member of the auxiliary of Wegman-Koele American Legion Post 380.

Survivors include the widower; two sons, James and Hyman, both of Hull; two daughters, Mrs. L.J. DeKoster of Hull and Mrs. Leo Koneitzko of Canton, South Dakota; three brothers, Ralph Vander Schaaf of Rock Rapids, Iowa, Harry of Hull and Dewey of Sheboygan, Wisconsin; a sister, Mrs. F.H. Lutjens of Sioux City; 16 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
