Mr. and Mrs. Walter Van Rooyen, Mrs. Marvin Vander Wei, Mrs. Kenneth Van Wechsel and Mrs. Florence R. Mouw attended the funeral at Sheldon last week Monday afternoon, of their aunt and relative, Mrs. Benjamin Hyink, 86, of Sheldon.

Mrs. Hyink, nee Elizabeth Van Rooyen, passed away on Friday morning in the Sheldon hospital after a short illness.

Five daughters and 5 sons survive. The children are: John, of Grand Rapids, Michigan; Jeanette - Mrs. Art Mouw of Newkirk; Esther - Mrs. Edw. Roos of Fountain, Minnesota; Lawrence, of Winfred, South Dakota; Harold, of Sheldon; Ruth - Mrs. Ben Wiseman and Nelvina - Mr. John Duimstra both of Grand Rapids: Adrianna - Mrs. Dick Ten Clav of Sheldon; Gerrit James, of Sioux City and Benjamin at home.

Interment was made at Newkirk Cemetery, where her late husband is buried.
