Several from here attended the funeral of Benjamin Hyink 70, at Sheldon Friday afternoon.

Mr. Hyink who had been ailing for some years died in a Sioux City hospital, Tuesday noon, September 5.

Surviving are his widow, Elizabeth (Van Rooyen) Hyink; 10 children, 41 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.

The children are: John, of Grand Rapids, Michigan; Jeanette - Mrs. Art Mouw of Newkirk; Esther - Mrs. Edw. Roos of Fountain, Minnesota; Lawrence, of Winfred, South Dakota; Harold, of Sheldon; Ruth - Mrs. Ben Wiseman and Nelvina - Mr. John Duimstra both of Grand Rapids: Adrianna - Mrs. Dick Ten Clav of Sheldon; Gerrit James, of Sioux City and Benjamin at home.

All the children were present at the funeral and at the deathbed of their father. Many of the grandchildren and their families also were present.
