Funeral services were held at the First Reformed Church in Rock Valley at 1:30 P.M. Wednesday, June 10, for Conrad Huyser, 19, of Alford, who drowned Sunday afternoon at Palisades State Park near Garretson, South Dakota.

Services were conducted by the Reverend Ralph Ten Clay and burial was made in Valley View Cemetery at Rock Valley.

Conrad was born May 25, 1951, at Hull. He had been working on his father’s farm.

Survivors: His parents, Mr. and Mrs. Cornie Huyser, three brothers - Henry, Arie and Alvin all at home, four sisters - Mrs. Gary Riphagen and Mrs. Henry Wolfwinkel both of Rock Valley, Mrs. John Van DenBrink of Sioux Center and Carolyn at home; the maternal Grandparents, Mrs. and Mrs. Arie Gaalswyk of Rock Valley.
