Funeral services were held at Rock Valley Monday for Mrs. Henry Huyser, 73, of Rock Valley, who died June 21, at the Rock Valley Hospital.

Services were conducted by the Reverend J. Van Zweden and burial was made in the Rock Valley Cemetery.

The former Elizabeth “Lizzie” Maassen was born in The Netherlands in 1895. She was married to Henry Huyser February 17, 1917. He preceded her in death in 1965.

Survivors include two daughters - Mrs. John Van Veldhuisen of Doon, Iowa and Mrs. Jake Van Voorst of Inwood, Iowa; three sons - Cornie of Inwood, Iowa, Raymond of Hull, Iowa, and John of Rock Rapids, Iowa; three brothers - John and Gerrit, both of Rock Valley, Iowa and Moss of Sioux Center, Iowa; three sisters - Mrs. Ralph Van Ginkel and Mrs. Jennie Van Voorst, both of Rock Valley, Iowa, and Mrs. Minnie Marinus of Holland, Minnesota; 26 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren
