Funeral services were held at the American Reformed Church in Orange City, Saturday, April 3, for Miss Dora G. Hospers, 79, of Orange City, who died March 31 at the nursing home in Hull.

Services were conducted by the Reverend Alvin Hook and burial was made in West Lawn Cemetery at Orange City.

Miss Hospers was born at Orange City in September of 1891 to John and Effie (Marra) Hospers, and had been a live-long resident of that community.

She had been employed in various positions in Orange City. She worked for a time for Sioux Abstract Company Inc., served as Librarian at Northwestern College and as deputy Sioux County Recorder. She retired about 10 years ago.

Survivors include two sisters, Mrs. John Van Klompenburg and Mrs. Harry Mulder; both of Bellflower, California.
