Funeral services were held at the American Reformed church in Orange City May 25 for Mrs. H. J. Vande Waa, 82. of Orange City, who died May 21 at the Orange City hospital . Services were conducted by the Rev. Alvin Hoek and burial was made in West lawn cemetery at Orange City.

Mrs. Vande Waa, the former Kitty Klein, was born at Orange City February 6, 1888. She was married to H. J. Vande Waa in June of l9ll and a life-long resident of Orange City, preceded her in death 1948

Survivors include a daughter Mrs. l.eo Grether of Boone; a son. Dr. Carl Vande Waa of Sioux Falls; three grandchildren, a great grandchild- a sister, Mrs. Gertrude Fisher of Orange City ; two brothers. Dr. Paul of Fremont Mich. , and Henry of Orcutt. Calif.
