It was shocking news that we received here Tuesday when the sad tidings came from the county seat that death had claimed Miss Minnie Fisher. She had been a very popular teacher here in our public school for a few years and had gained a large number of friends by her kindness and pleasing personality. The family have the sincere sympathy of the whole community. Of her it may be said, in our midst, that although she is dead she yet speaketh.
