Fisher, Betje ‘Elizabeth’ born 9 Oct 1860 Pella IA died 21 Sep 1922 Des Moines IA buried in West Lawn cemetery Orange City IA. Headstone listed simply ‘Mother’ Fisher. See her husband’s obit for further family information.

Mrs. Jerome Fisher died at her home in Des Moines. Iowa. Thursday, September 21. 1822. Her death came very suddenly being caused from a hemorage of the brain, and it being so serious that life lasted only a half hour after the appearance of the stroke.

Elizabeth Muilenburg: was born at Pella. Iowa. Oct., 9th 1859 and had she lived but a few days longer until the date of her birth, would have been sixty-three years of age. While still a small child she came with her parents to Orange City where she had always lived until last January when she went to Des Moines to live with her two daughters, the Misses Nell and Joyce Fisher.

She was united In marriage with Jerome Fisher and to this union five children were born, all of whom she has reared to man>and womanhood Mrs. Fisher has ever been a sincere Christian woman and was one of the. Charter Members of the American Reformed church of this city.

She leaves to mourn her sudden departure, her five children. Mrs. J. E. Oggel of Orange City, Miss Nell o£ Des Moines, Dr. Edward and Dr. C. V. Fisher of Orange City and Miss Joyce of Des Moines also her aged mother Mrs. P. Muilenburg of this city three brothers Alex Muileuburg of Edgerton, Minn., J. P. Muilenburg of Hull, and H. P. Muilenburg of this city, six sisters, Mrs. Fred Van Zuiden of Sioux City, Mrs Jennie Casjens and Mrs. Allen Van Wechel of this city, Mrs. Neal Van Steenwyk of Edgerton, Minn., Mrs. Dick Johnson, Sibley,IA., and Mrs. Gerrlt Vander Aarde of Milford, all of whom were here to attend the burial.

The funeral services were held last Saturday afternoon at the American Reformed, church and burial was made in the beautiful Orange City cemetery. West Lawn cemetery Orange City IA.
