Fischer, Katharina (Zink/Hodapp) born 15 Oct 1841 Sasbachwolden Germany died 17 Mar 1913 wife of Carl Fischer buried in St. Anthony's cemetery Hospers IA. The name on the tombstone is Fischer.

Note there is conflicting information on the death date and place on reports on ancestry.com listing her as died 1915 in Illinois. Below is the actual obituary carried in the Alton Democrat of 29 March 1913.

Mrs. Carl Fisher (Fischer) died at her home near Granville on Wednesday March 26th, of diabetes at the age of 72 years. Deceased was born in Baden Germany in 1841. In 1859 she was united in marriage to M. Hodapp. This union was blessed with three sons--Barney, Leonard and Mike. Mr. Hodapp died in 1867. Four years later she was united in marriage to Anton Hodapp. This union was blessed with seven children, three of whom survive. Mrs. Sophia Hund of Germany, Leopold of Sibley and Miss Francis of Granville. She was joined in wedlock for the third time in 1888, (date questionable as Carl came to USA in 1903) to Carl Fisher, who survives her. Deceased also has four brothers living in Germany and four in America. Funeral services will be held from St. Joseph's church of Granville, this Saturday forenoon.

The last sad rites of Mrs. Carl Fisher were held at St. Joseph's church Saturday which was largely attended. The remains were placed to rest in the local cemetery.

Note: reports on ancestry.com lists her first husband as Melchoir Hodapp 1838-1869, second husband as Anton Hodapp 1838-1885. Her third or fourth husband as Carl Fisher. She was the daughter of Anton Zink 1817 and Elisabetha Geiser.
Reports on ancestry.com list a second or third husband as Joseph Steck 1821-1874, then Carl would have been the fourth husband.
