Finch, Pliny Dayton born Feb 1852 Byron IL, died 11 Nov 1926 Glendale CA, buried in Valley View cemetery at Rock Valley IA, as listed on the headstone of Josiah, Lovina, M. J. and J. M.
No obit was readily found in local papers.
Note: in a family report on ancestry.com by others, Pliny Dayton Finch was born Feb 1852 Byron IL, died 11 Nov 1926 Glendale CA. His parents were Josiah Finch 1824-1901 and Lovina Bigelow 1823-1901. Married 1875 his wife was Mary A. Wood 1851-1945. One child listed was John Byron Finch 1882-1926. This family report states Pliny was buried in Grand View Memorial Park with wife Mary A. Finch. Conclusion, his initials were posted on the headstone in Valley View cemetery before his death in 1926 in CA.
