Finch, John Mortimer Finch born 1850 Byron IL, died June 1913, is buried in Valley View cemetery Rock Valley as listed in the Sioux County IA cemetery index, on headstone with Josiah, Lovina and M. J. and P. D . No obit was found. He is believed to have been single.

He was the son of Josiah Finch 1824-1901 and Lovina Bigelow 1823-1901. See their obits for further family information. In the obit of his brother Milton J. Finch it states that his brother John M. passed away June 1913. No obit was found the Rock Valley Bee of 1913 is no longer in existence.
