Note: This child was born to John Finnie 17 Jan 1846 Ontario Can. and died 6 Jul 1914 Union Co. SD buried in Grace Hill Cemetery Hawarden IA. A headstone lists Harriet 1848-1896, Jane, Blanch 1891, Anna L. died 1892 and John died 1914; as listed in the Sioux County IA cemetery index.

From an ancestry.com report (done by others) John’s wife was Harriet Chambers 1848-1896. They had children Frederick 1874-1950, Elizabeth 1876-1947, Caroline 1876-1947, William 1878-1959, Jessie 1879-1955, Edward 1881-1956, Robert 1883-1957, Jane Finnie 1884-1884, Anna L. 1885-1892 and Blanch 1891-1891. No obits for the three daughters who died young were found in the Hawarden papers.
