Ferris, Nathaniel Lewis Ferris born 28 Oct 1827 Minden New York died 19 Sep 1891 Akron IA, former resident of Ireton. His wife was Martha Ann Green 189-1904. His parents were Nathaniel Ferris 1790 and Mary Duryee Warne 1801

N. L. Ferris, a. former resident of this county but the last four or five years a resident of Akron, Iowa, died last Friday and was buried in the cemetery at this place Sunday afternoon. Mrs. A. 1B. Ferris, living about a few miles northwest of town, died last Sunday of typhoid fever. The deceased was a daughter of Henry Edwards of this place. She leaves a husband and four little c-children to mourn her loss.
