Ferris, Susie born 9 Aug 1862 died 20 Sep 1891 Mother and wife of A. B. buried in Pleasant Hill cemetery at Ireton IA.

Mrs. Bert Ferris, of Eagle township, died last Sunday from typhoid fever. Several other members
of the family are afflicted with the malady, but are reported improving. Mr. Ferris father
also died Saturday at his home in Akron surely this family is having more than it’s share of sad
affliction.

N. L. Ferris, a. former resident of this county but the last four or five years a resident of Akron, Iowa, died last Friday and was buried in the cemetery at this place Sunday afternoon. Mrs. A. B. Ferris, living about a few miles northwest of town, died last Sunday of typhoid fever. The deceased was a daughter of Henry Edwards of this place. She leaves a husband and four little children to mourn her loss.

Note: In an ancestry.com report done by others, Susan Edwards was born 9 Aug 1862 Highland WI died 20 Sep 1891 Ireton Sioux Iowa, daughter of Henry Richard Edwards 1823-1910 and Eliza Jane Parish 1827-1914. She was married to Albert Burton Ferris and they had children: Elvira 1881-1887, Albert Henry 1884-1953, Eliza 1886-1961 and Pearl Nellie 1889-1973.
