Death of Early Day Resident Will French, of Draper, S. D., an early day resident of Ireton, died last Wednesday in a sanatorium at Chamberlin, S.'D., where he had been cared for the past few years. His remains were brought to Ireton last Friday for burial. Rev. W. V. Bell of the Methodist churoh of Hawarden -was in charge of the services at the grave.

Will French grew up in this vicinity and in Ireton. He had reached the advanced age of 79 years (1867) . Many years go he left Ireton, locating at Draper, S. D,, where he was a blacksmith. He never married and was the last member of his family. He was an uncle of Mrs. Lena Parker of Ireton and
Mrs. A. I. Coons and Miss Ruth French of Hawarden.
Mr. and Mrs. A I Coons, Miss Ruth French and S Q. Frenoh of Hawarden attended the services in Ireton.

Note: This parents were John French 1818 New York died 1896 Ireton IA and wife Harriet born abt 1843 NY, they had one son Will French age 12 in 1880. 1900 census of Trosky MN Harriett was 56 born Aug 1843 and Will was 32, born Feb 1868 New York
