On Thursday evening, the year and a half old baby boy, Keith Rodney Hoffs of Mr. and Mrs. John Hoffs died of lobar pneumonia. The child had been sick around Christmas time and suffered a relapse which he did not survive, leaving father and mother, grandparents, uncles and aunts to mourn his death.

The community extends the hand of sympathy to the bereaved in their hour of great sorrow.

Funeral services were held at the First Reformed Church Monday afternoon, Reverend Steguman officiating. Interment took place at the cemetery west of town.
