Mr. and Mrs. Jake Hofmeyer attended the funeral Friday afternoon for his brother, John Hofmeyer, 95, of Sanborn, which was held in the Reformed Church in Sanborn.

Mr. Hofmeyer passed away in the Sheldon Hospital on Tuesday night, September 11 after suffering a heart attack.

Surviving are four sons and two daughters, all residing in the Sheldon area. He was married to Minnie J. (Brinkhuis) Hofmeyer. She passed away 1n 1945.

Those from here attending the funeral services for John Hofmeyer Friday afternoon at the Sanborn Reformed Church were Mr. and Mrs. Peter Van Kley, Mrs. Gerrit Schneider, Mr. and Mrs. Joe C. Kleinhesselink, Mr. Peter W. Hofmeyer and Mrs. Arthur Vander Pol.

Interment was at the Newkirk Cemetery.
