Mrs. Wesley Hofmeyer, 70, of Hospers, died September 11, in the Orange City Hospital.

Services were at 10 A.M. September 13 in the Presbyterian Church at Hospers. The Reverend Robert Offerdahl officiated and burial was in the East Memorial Cemetery at Hospers under the direction of the Vander Ploeg Funeral Home of Hospers.

Mrs. Hofmeyer, the former Johanna Marie Oordt, was born January 23, 1905, in Sioux Center. She was married January 17, 1929, to Wesley Hofmeyer at Hospers. She lived most of her life in Hospers. Survivors include the widower, Wesley; four sons, Robert, Dean, Glen, and Arvin, all of Hospers; a daughter, Mrs. Alvin (Julie)Stuit of Hospers; 21 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; two brothers, Andrew and Herman Oordt, both of Orange City, and five sisters, Mrs. Lillian Wolfswinkel of Orange City; Mrs. Andrew (Betty) Van Veldhuizen of Hospers; Mrs. Everet (Gertrude) Zinn of Le Mars; Mrs. Elmer (Annette ) Den Hartog of Hawarden, and Mrs. Winifred Hartog of Ogilvy, Minnesota.
