Masonic services for Robert Long

Masonic services were held Thursday, Dec. 3, at Long Beach Calif., for Robert A. Long. Mr. Long was born Jan. 20, 1907, at Rock Valley and died at his home in Long Beach, Sunday night, Nov. 29, of a heart attack. "Bob" graduated from the Rock Valley high school in 1925 and left that same summer to make his home in California. He obtained a job with the Colyear Motor Co. of Long Beach as salesman and was .still employed with the company at the time of his death.

He was married to Miss Mildred Chamberlain in 1932 and she, along with three children, Robert, jr., Carole, (Mrs. Ronald Day of Lynwood) and Tom at home are left to mourn his death. He also leaves two brothers, L. L. Long of Mitchell, S. D., and H. J. Long of Rock Valley and three sisters, Mrs. C. M. Smith and Mrs. W. B. Hansen of, Rock Valley and Mrs. J. P. Goldsmith of South Gate, Calif.

Mr. Long was a former Grand Master of the Masons at Long Beach.
