In the July 14th 1976 issue of Alton Democrat it mentioned that Mrs. Gladys Brower’s house had been sold to another party. Alton Democrat of Sept 18th 1858 confirms she was the wife of Nelson Brower. She filed for divorce at the time. She had a brother Richard Van Laar.
