Wednesday Rites for Mrs. L. Winters

Funeral services for Mrs. Louis Winters, 52, were held Wednesday, December 28, at 1:00 p.m. at Porter Funeral Home and Christian Reformed church with the Rev. Leonard Van Drunen officiating. Burial was in Valley View cemetery under the direction of Porter Funeral Home.
Mrs. Winters, the former Rolena Driesen was born Oct. 11, 1914 at Rock Valley. She died Saturday at the Sioux Center Hospital following a lingering illness.
Music consisted of congregational singing with Mrs. Jake Oostra at the organ. Pallbearers were John J. Driesen, Ed Driesen, Bert Driesen, Ed Rus, Wm. J. Van Maanen and John Van Maanen. Interment was in Valley View cemetery.
Survivors are her husband, Louis, two sons, Kenneth and Lloyd; two daughters, Mrs. Anthony Van Beek and Mrs. Harold Niemeyer; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Klass Driesen; one brother, John D. and one sister, Mrs. Elmer Visser besides eight grandchildren.
