Christine Sanders, former resident dies in New York

Mrs. Christine Sanders of Canandaigua, N. Y., died Nov.16, at the hospital there after a brief illness.

Mrs. Sanders was a resident of Rock Valley for 21 years before moving to Canandaigua in 1912. She was the former Christine Wyffel's, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. John. B. Wyffels. The late Philip Wyffels of Rock Valley was her brother.

She is survived by two sons, Joseph of Oneida and Henry of Canandaigua Road; three daughters, Mrs. Clifford Purdy of Canandaigua, Mrs. Henry Wyffels of Livonia and Mrs. Francis McGinnis of Palmyra; a sister, Mrs Nellie Braet of Estelline, S. D. Her husband Cemille Sanders, died in 1955.

Funeral services were held at St. Mary's church at Canandaigua and burial was in Calvary cemetery there.
