Mrs. Herman Winter Passes Away

The death of Mrs. Herman Winter, of Scotland, S. D., came as shock to her many relatives and friends in this community. She passed away last Friday afternoon at 3:00 o'clock.
Mrs. Winter was the eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. D. Kruse. She was united in marriage to Herman Winter a son of Mr. and Mrs. August Winter, just six years ago.
and leaves, a husband, one son three years old and a baby girl about two weeks old. The cause of her death is not known by the writer, but she was suddenly taken, away. Since their marriage they have resided at Scotland; S. D. where Mr. Winter operated a farm. Mr. and Mrs. D. Kruse and Mr. and Mrs. Aug. Winter who where called to Scotland, returned Monday afternoon with the remains. The funeral was held Wednesday at the German Lutheran Church, with Rev. Wm. Baetke, officiating, and interment was made in the Lutheran cemetery.
Mrs. Winter was well known in this vicinity and leaves a host of relatives and friends to mourn her death. The Reporter extends its sincere sympathy to the bereaved family and relatives.
