Aletha (Winter) Heitritter, 71, of Boyden died Monday, April 25, at her home.

Services were at 2 P.M. Thursday, April 28 at St. John Lutheran Church, rural Boyden, with burial in St. John Lutheran, Cemetery of Boyden.

He was united in marriage to Vernon Heitritter on February 7, 1946, at St. John Lutheran Church in Boyden. After their marriage, the couple farmed the family farm until retiring in 1989 and moving into Boyden.

Left to mourn her memory are her husband, Vernon of Boyden; his five children: Doris and Stan Kruse of Ellsworth, Minnesota, Roy and Ruth (De Boer) Heitritter of Sheldon, Glen and Linda (Seenson) Heitritter of Omaha, Nebraska, Wayne and Cheryl (Gaudian) Heitritter of Boyden, and Lois and Irvie Frantz of Frisco, Texas; 15 grandchildren; three brothers; and two sisters, including Mrs. Fern Krahling of George.
