Benit, Elmer Herman Carl born June 18, 1898 Reading Twp., Sioux County IA, died May 1, 1901 Ireton Iowa and is buried in St. Paul’s Lutheran Cemetery Ireton IA, as recorded in the Sioux County IA cemetery Index, taken from the WPA 1939 Index. There is not headstone, also noted the name in the WPA Index was Eldo Benit.

Note: A well source report on Ancestry.com has his name as Elmer Benit, son of Carsten Peter Benit 1865-1948 and Johanna Margaretha Herren 1871-1906. The parents are buried in Arnolds Park IA.
